Narnia

Have you read the Chronicles of Narnia by Clive Staples Lewis? I know I’m just flowing with the popular thought but I just started reading it. I got the book from my brother and his girlfriend for Christmas. I never even thought of reading it. I always enjoyed Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter but I never got an inkling to read these books. I’m excited it was kind of thrown my way. I think these books are excellent for the old and young. I’m sure there’s a lot of meaning behind all of it which I have no clue about. I have taken classes about authors such as JRR Tolkien and GK Chesterton to know a little about the meaning in their books however nothing besides the obvious (like the Sons of Adam and Daughers of Eve) sticks out in these 7 books . If anyone has further thought into them I would love to hear it. I recommend the Chronicles of Narnia. I am definitely going to read them to my children someday (God willing). They are very imaginative and I hope the movie doesn’t do anything to destroy that.

It’s a good thing you got those books during a month you didn’t have classes!
